My name is Astrid, many call me Asta, some Yari.
Born and raised in Stockholm, lived in Dhaka Bangladesh between the age of 10- 15 then Malmö from 21-27. A bit in Sarnia and Los Angeles. I feel at home quickly in a lot of places and hope to work internationally, I love traveling.
As a person/ collegue. I’m energetic and equally as serious as playful. I value curiosity, kindness, care and am impressed and drawn to all who dare to be heartcore. I am interested in what society is as well as what else it could be. I care about social justice issues, neuance and bold statements, the uncertain, desires and care in comunity. I am nerdy with sound & am learning all the time. I strongly believe in the power of art and the power of the people. I hope to grow super old. I am learning spanish and think I should live in Mexico at some point.
I’m find presence very difficult but full of potential. I hope to, through art, help both myself and others to approach themselves-, the world around them and other people, with more curiosity and care. I am a romantic and one of my life goals is to keep my heart and mind open, to ask questions before I assume. I want to work with other heartcore creatives and sharp minds from other fields. Hit me up, let’s work. I work very hard and feel fortunate to be able to do what I do.
